What is envisioned here is a shared experience of the so-called spiritual path toward the peace that surpasses understanding. I’ve lived a big life, an interesting life, a life packed with suffering and joy, loneliness and love. I yearn now for the truth promised us by the mystics and masters, and to say a fond but permanent farewell to the Doug that stands in the way.

Since I’m still very much here, the journey continues.
